Frederick and Roger are delivering a cake to Herbert the Hedgehog, but he lives so very far away. Stopping for directions, they exchange pieces of cakes for help and sweet treats, not noticing their delicious delivery is getting smaller and smaller… When they arrive at Herberts and find the cake is almost gone, they must come up with a fast fix. Madeleine Rorke is an animator, author, artist and illustrator from Melbourne, Australia. She graduated in fine arts (animation) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). After spending three years studying animation, she discovered her strengths and passion lies with character design and storytelling. Her goal in creating her books is to tell stories that don’t talk down to children but rather up to them, exploring topics that kids will enjoy while also teaching valuable lessons about life, friendships, family and values.
