A celebration of the wonder a mighty old-growth gum tree can bring.
Meet Tree-squeak, a mighty old-growth gum tree. Towering over the Australian bushland, he is teeming with life. From birds to koalas to possums and much more, Tree-squeak provides a home in his unique ecosystem for everyone! Through fires and floods, he endures, producing new shoots and buds, bringing joy and shelter to the environment around him. This delightful, poetic story, with its extensive educational back matter and glossary, will inspire readers to enjoy and protect our precious forests and serves as a reminder that all trees play an important role in the world around us.
