Flora the fairy is not happy with her odd socks, so she seeks help to find a matching pair.

Flora is not happy about her odd-looking socks. One has spots and the other has stripes! Desperate to find a matching pair, she asks the sleeping animals of the forest to help her. Finding difficulty in her quest, Flora meets a plucky kangaroo, who helps her realise that having differences may not be such a bad thing after all. Flora’s Odd Socks is a gentle, endearing story about accepting others and yourself which features charming and elegant illustrations.

Rebecca Rivers is a schoolteacher from Western Sydney, NSW. Having studied for a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Text & Writing and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, Rebecca is now a high school English and Literacy teacher. She has a passion for storytelling and the lessons shared through books.
 
Laura Cortinovis is from Bergamo, Italy. She creates worlds and characters with a watercolor technique that represents the easiest way for her to make dreams visible. After taking several courses at the International School of Illustration of Sarmede, Laura has worked as a writer and illustrator, publishing several books. She currently works as a freelancer for Italian publishing houses and brands.
