The Best Swimmer in the Whole World
Nell Smith
Illustrated by Patrizia Manfroi
Sam is going to be the best swimmer in the whole world—that is, until he dips his toe in.
Sam’s excited for his day at the beach. Mum sets up the towel and sits with baby Luna while Archie sets off into the surf. “I’m going to be the best swimmer in the world!” Sam declares. But the sea is too cold, so he turns to making sandcastles. When his constructions collapse right out of the bucket, fetching water to stick the sand together might remind him why he came in the first place… Bright, summery artwork paints a perfect picture of a beach day adventure.
