Pat Simmons lives in Scarborough, New South Wales, Australia, with her two cats, Mr. Meowgi and Oscar. Pat is a writer of poetry, short stories, adult flash fiction, and children’s picture books. As a published poet, Pat has won awards in the United Kingdom and Australia. Pat worked in children’s services such as Out of School Hours Care, preschool, and at the Australian National Maritime Museum, running school holiday and weekend programmes for children before moving into writing.
 
Nicolas Gouny lives among the cows and trees of a small village in the French countryside. With twenty years of experience in writing and illustrating, Nicolas originally studied literature and economics, working in the publishing industry before becoming an illustrator. His graphic palette creates a colourful and imaginary universe, capturing the subtle poetry of small things.
