Raised by an adventurous family, Tobias Ryan was inspired to travel and enjoy many different life experiences. A former primary school teacher, Tobias was fascinated by his students’ positive responses to storytelling. Now, Tobias enjoys a peaceful life, residing in a bus in the bush on the east coast of Australia, while working in the renewable energy sector. He continues to listen to other people’s life stories and remains intrigued by the art of story-telling and its connection with learning.
Matteo Merli is an artist from Italy who has worked widely in the film and TV industry. With a rich background in character creation and conceptualization, Matteo brings this knowledge into his work as an illustrator. Matteo has worked for many publishing houses and, over the years, has carefully developed his technique. Matteo enjoys illustrating using Bic pens, a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet, Photoshop C5, and SketchBook Pro.
