Niki Wahapa was born in Sydney, and raised in Perth, Western Australia. She has a strong family heritage and link to New Zealand. Graduating in 2009 from Notre Dame University as a Registered Nurse, Niki later became inspired to write children’s books. She currently still lives in Perth, Australia with her husband Mark, and children Riley, Alex and Charlotte - who love to listen and review her work. She also has two big dogs, Tilly and Zara, who contribute to her narratives.

Elisa Rocchi was born in Bologna, Italy. With a love of drawing since childhood, Elisa graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Bologna before moving to Milan. Returning to Bologna with her family as inspiration, Elisa currently works as an illustrator.
