Madeleine Rorke is an animator, author, artist and illustrator from Melbourne, Australia. She graduated in fine arts (animation) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). After spending three years studying animation, she discovered her strengths and passion lies with character design and storytelling. Her goal in creating her books is to tell stories that don't talk down to children but rather up to them, exploring topics that kids will enjoy while also teaching valuable lessons about life, friendships, family and values.
