Ben J. Melen lives in Perth, Western Australia, with his wonderful wife and two amazing kids. Ben is an admitted lawyer with a passion for justice and equity. Ben’s favourite activities are exercising, watching his kids play sports, and taking his Cavoodle, Archie, for big walks. Ben loves a good challenge, be it a triathlon, marathon, or even writing children’s books!

Matteo Merli is an artist from Italy who has worked widely in the film and TV industry. With a rich background in character creation and conceptualization, Matteo brings this knowledge into his work as an illustrator. Matteo has worked for many publishing houses and, over the years, has carefully developed his technique. Matteo enjoys illustrating using Bic pens, a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet, Photoshop C5, and SketchBook Pro.
