Lorna Lovell Stallman lives in Des Moines, Iowa, USA, but grew up on a farm, which was a lot of hard work but also a lot of fun. She enjoyed helping with chores, even when it meant being chased by two incredibly rude sheep. Lorna tried to instill a love of country life in her two children and is still a farm girl at heart. She likes to include animals in her stories and lives with two of her favorite animals, English setter Phoebe and ragdoll cat Indigo.

Sara Sánchez is an illustrator based in Spain. She has illustrated several children’s books and has participated in both solo and collective illustration exhibitions. She is inspired by walking in nature, observing her surroundings, and the little things found in everyday life. She is also a very curious person and has explored other artistic disciplines such as mural painting, sculpture, and portraiture.
