Dr Kathryn McCarren began her career fascinated by the magical world of plant pathogens and tiny insects. However, after being drawn into the fantasy worlds of her five children, she decided to write her own children's book to capture that same magic. Residing in Sydney, Australia, Kathryn continues to chase dreams, adventure, and the elusive unicorn.
Sara Sánchez is an illustrator based in Spain. She has illustrated several children's books and has participated in both solo and collective illustration exhibitions. She is inspired by walking in nature, observing her surroundings, and the little things found in everyday life. She is also a very curious person and has explored other artistic disciplines such as mural painting, sculpture, and portraiture.
