Boogers for Breakfast

Dave Whittingham Illustrated by Charlotte Cleveland

A hilarious, gross-out tale of a boy’s mission to find his favourite breakfast—boogers!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day—and George loves to have boogers! But disaster strikes when he gets a cold, and his favourite meal disappears. Each day, George wakes to find his boogers change from being non-existent to sticky green gloop, and the advice from his family just doesn’t help one bit. Will George ever enjoy his favourite breakfast again? A hilarious and delightfully gross story, featuring some equally disgusting—yet playful—illustrations!

  • George’s booger dilemma is the perfect story for shared reading.
  • Wonderfully expressive, laugh-out-loud designs that are vibrant, warm, and perfectly icky.

He loves to make children laugh, and when he is not teaching them a big life lesson, he is usually telling them a dad joke. He always looks forward to breakfast.

She has a very active imagination and loves to create joy and movement using pencil, ink and watercolour. Charlotte comes from Colchester, UK.
