The Author

David Ling is a publisher of both adult and children’s books. He created the Duck Creek Press imprint in 2010 and is also the author of But What Did We Get For Grandpa? illustrated by Dick Frizzell and Why Do Cats Have Tails? illustrated by Stephanie Thatcher.

The Illustrator

Nicky Sievert completed a Bachelor of Fine Art through Massey University in 2005 and lives in Lower Hutt with her husband and two children.
