Kelly-Anne Norman has had a passion for reading for as long as she can remember. Growing up, she could usually be found squirreled away within the sanctuary of the school library, most often with her nose buried between the pages of a fantasy novel. Kelly-Anne feels extremely passionate about promoting a life-long love of reading to children of all ages and believes that books have the power to change lives. She lives in sunny Brisbane with her husband, five children and an extraordinarily perfect pup named Mia. Kelly-Anne enjoys baking cookies, watching superhero movies and loves to read books (of course!).

Maia Batumashvili was born in Tiblisi, Georgia in 1978. Since a young age, Maia has loved to draw and is inspired by the children’s books and cartoons she grew up with. After graduating from two art institutes, Maia worked on an animation project before finally realising her dream of illustrating children’s books. When Maia is not creating imaginative worlds, she enjoys spending time with her three beautiful children and her dog, Tayo.
