Born and raised in Melbourne, Lydia Donev loves writing children's picture books just as much as she loves spending time outdoors with her partner and energic dog Bodhi. As an early childhood teacher and assistant director in early years education, her writing is endlessly inspired by her young students and relatable topics. Lydia spends many hours treasure hunting in bookshops and attempting messy watercolour paintings. She aims to inspire children in a love of storytelling through her books and thought-provoking characters.
