Loretta Re grew up in the country in Australia. Every weekend she and her friends took Robbie, a curly retriever, to hunt for buried treasure deep in a pine forest close to home. One exciting day they dug up an old radio and Loretta wrote a story about their adventure to read to her little sister. Since then, she has written stories and spent many hours teaching kids the fun of reading.
