Jessica Harnett is a teacher and mother of two boys, Peter and Michael. She has previously been shortlisted in the Cowley Literary Prize with her short story "The Escape". Growing up with little to do in the small town of Katherine, in the Northern Territory, Jessica learned that the best adventure you could go on was reading a good book.
