Jenny Symmans grew up on a remote New Zealand sheep station where school was held at the kitchen table and library books delivered by mail. Most of her childhood friends had tails, but she left them behind for university and journalism school. She  worked in journalism and marketing in  New Zealand, Britain, Europe, and Africa. Now based in Wellington, her family have shared their home with numerous feline friends,  and a large collection of books that don’t have to be returned by mail!
