Holly Barnes is an author, mental health counsellor, and a mum. Bertie the Bookshelf is her first published book; however, she has been writing both long and short stories all her life. She lives in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, with her young family, plus one angry cat and two attention-seeking dogs. She is a good cook, a fast reader, and a very slow runner.
