Florence Guillemot was born in France and now lives in South Australia. She has spent many years caring for children and reading captivating picture books to them, an experience that inspired her to begin writing her own stories. Florence finds joy in life’s little pleasures: baking her favourite orange cake, walking in nature, breathing in the scent of flowers, or watching a snail slowly make its way across a path.
