FC Winward is a former journalist who fell in love with poo spotting on a safari guide course in South Africa, where she learnt to identify the tracks and signs of honey badgers, porcupines and jackals. She continues to poo spot in the Australian bush and elsewhere. She currently lives in Sussex, United Kingdom, with her Australian family.
