Ceridwen Fraser is a marine scientist at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. She grew up in Canberra, Australia, and spent childhood summers poking around in rockpools on the NSW south coast. Beyond work, which includes Antarctic voyages, she is kept young-at-heart by her two sons. If any spare time magically appears, she writes, swims, paints, or makes stained glass windows. She used to be a paper conservator and loves books – especially rollicking, adventurous children’s stories.
