Joe is a young boy who does not tidy his room. One night, before he goes to bed, he is warned that the Toy Fairy will take all his toys away. The young boy is sceptical about this explanation, believing his father to be key in the disappearance of his possessions. But Joe is wrong. Not only does the Toy Fairy take the toys, he also takes Joe away. After rediscovering his missing toys, Joe is relocated with his pirate ship to the home of a classmate who is living with no toys. The experience awakens compassion in the boy.
